Yoshi was a highlight of our vacation in Japan, and Ise is a must-visit location

If you have the great fortune to be guided by Yoshi, you will be very happy. Yoshi clearly took the time to tailor our tour to our interests, and we had an experience we never could have had on our own or with a large group tour. He was both professional and friendly.

Could we have given ourselves a tour with a booklet? Yes.

Would that have been a great mistake? Yes.

He helped us navigate the sacred sites without being offensive, and pointed out fun little things like meaningful rocks, as well as extra info about defferent rituals. Highly recommended.

 

 

 

効率よく両宮を回れて、ガイドも丁寧な説明で最高です。

家内は初お伊勢さん、伊勢市駅からスタートし、歩いて外宮へ。道中昭和レトロ（江戸、明治も含めて）を感じる街並みから綺麗な鎮守の杜の外宮に。内宮然り、境内には多くの神社が点在して、一つ一つその背景などを説明いただきました。外宮にはせんぐう館があり、絶対に必見です。遷宮を始め多くの神道の祭神が学べますし、正宮の作りもとても分かりやすく学ぶことができます。

GWの最中でしたので、おかげ横丁などどこも凄い人でしたが、何とか予定通り全て回ることができましたし、あらためて日本固有の宗教である神道を間近に触れて、深く学ぶ良い機会になりました。ガイドの西尾さんには感謝、感謝、感謝しかありません。ぜひお身体にお気を付けて少しでも長くガイドでより多くの皆さんをハッピーにしていってください。お世話になりました。

Our one-day tour of Ise Shrines was Fan Tastic; Geku in the AM and Naiku in th PM. His steep knowledge of the history and ability to explain the details and nuances of the cultural background was amazing. Yoshi is very personable and has a great sense of himour, adding "pop quizes" throughout the tour.
